Touch of Tranquility - a retreat in nature for children (8-14 years) FAQs

What is the workshop about?

The 2-day nature-based experiential camp for children aged 8-14 years. Your child will explore hands-on, engaging activities centered around nature, story, and discovery. To be in service of their curiosity, listen and hold space for them as they rationally explore the contradictions of life, and channelize their huge capacities with their inner rhythms. 2-days, away from gadgets, buzz of city life, away from the need to fill every minute with some activity. Children will be in the lap of nature, indigenous architecture and engage with local culture. The only sound will be that of birds, breeze, backwaters. All of their senses being nourished only with objects in nature, healthy food, brilliant colors, shapes and textures. They will get the opportunity to observe nature, deeply connect with it and let nature touch its presence within each one of them. Through discovery of what is outside they will learn more about who they are and what is their relationship with land. Children are meant to grow alongside nature, this is a reminder for them to know who they truly are so that they grow-up to become the guardians of nature and co-creating alongside nature
